Day 1 (DBL) Activity: Travel MELBOURNE - (SEYMOUR) - SHEPPARTON - TOCUMWAL - FINLEY Depart Melbourne, travel via coach through Central Victoria. Mid afternoon rest stop at Shepparton. Arrive to the Finley Bowling Club, meet host families and transfer by car to their farm homesteads to commence your Australian Farmhost stay and study visit. Overnight Farmhost Farmhost 2 to 4 students per host farm. Day 2 (DBL) Activity: Farmhost Spend today with your host family on their farm and / or visiting other farms that are of the studies of the students. Lunch and Dinner with hosts. Overnight Activity: Farmhost Farmhost (DBBL). 2 – 4 clients per host farm Day 3 (DBL) Activity: Study Subject work experience day Rice students to have work experience on rice farms. Farm hosts take students to farms of their respective studies for hands on work experience and technical inspection to include a Native Flower Farm, Pistachio Nut Farm and a Stoned Fruit Orchard to meet student study requirements. A Picnic Lunch will be enjoyed by all at the Yulupna State Forest & Fauna Reserve on the bank of the Murray River. Afternoon touring back to hosts farm and farm activities with hosts. Overnight Activity: Farmhost Inspection of Arabian Horse Stud at Wilberforce – Q & A Day 4 (B) Activity: Travel FINLEY - TOCUMWAL - BENALLA - (SEYMOUR) - MELBOURNE Hosts return students to the Finley Bowling Club for departure by coach for Melbourne. Visit Farmers Supermarket browse and shop at leisure for Australiana personal apparel. Visit Nagambie Wine Growing district, lunch at one of the wineries. After lunch travel to Melbourne via Hume Freeway. Costs include: • 2 – 4 students to each farm homestead Students will be matched with farms of their studies. • Farmhost - 3 nights DBB and Lunch homestead • Teacher at farmhost property • Nursery inspection • Footscray Markets inspection
