Bindoon's Windmill Farm is located at Bindoon only 80 kilometres and 1.25hrs north of Perth.
Excellent accommodation with private and ensuite bathrooms, chalets are air-conditioned. Windmill Farm is an excellent farmstay for young families and adults alike. The farm is surrounded by bush covered hills and orchards located at the beginning of the Chittering Valley. Nearby bush reserves are home to kangaroos, wallabies, emus and a marvellous variety of birds. Opportunity to meet the farm pets, play with lambs and kangaroos, see a sheep being shorn and learn about the Australian sheep industry. Activities include:- horse ride, visit to a local orchard and purchase fruit (in season), farm tour on dray pulled by a tractor, cow milking demonstration and traditional wool spinning demonstration.
Guests are invited to assist with feeding farm animals at the end of the days activities (day 1) and again in the morning (day 2). Windmill Farmstay is not a working farm however activities are what would be typically found on a working farm
