Steeped in history this magnificent 1822 property is surrounded by rolling hills, towering trees, picturesque farmland and natural unspoilt bush.
At Mowbray Park guests can choose from classic Country Lodges, the deluxe ensuite rooms of the main Homestead or the colonial warmth of Majellan Lodge with its wide sweeping views and ensuite guest rooms.
Discover the delights of a leisurely horse ride across rolling hills and bushland taking in the magnificent views of the country side, perfect for both experienced and first timers, (age limit 8 years plus on the trail rides).
After your ride, take a dip in the pool or relax in our heated turbo spa. Spend a lazy afternoon along the banks of Crocodile creek chatting around the campfire cooking billy tea and damper, while youre there you may like to go canoeing down stream, its great fun for all ages !
Play tennis on our day/night tennis court, try your hand at archery or learn to crack a stock whip. You may like to bring your bikes and go bike riding or go for a relaxing bush walk.
For those looking for complete relaxation theres nothing better than a good book and a shady verandah or relaxing in a picturesque garden setting with an icy cool drink in hand. We also have perch in our farm dams for the keen fisherman.
Meals will be a highlight of your stay with delicious set menu’s including hearty hot breakfasts, sizzling barbecues with crisp salads and in the evening the scent of mouth watering roasts will tantalise your taste buds.
The children will be overwhelmed with excitement as they head off on the hayride for a real "hands on" farm experience , helping with the farm chores, feeding the livestock, pet kangaroos and cuddly nursery animals.
Theyll also milk the cows, bottle feed the calves, feed Doris the pig and watch our working dogs muster the sheep for that old favourite shearing demonstration.
Mowbray Park is ideal for self drive and independent travellers and adult and student groups. Mowbray Park can be accessed by train to Picton with transfers provided to the farm or self drive or private transfers from Sydney.
